Top Snowflake Implementation Partners: The Short Answer
The five Snowflake implementation partners worth shortlisting in 2026 are phData, Xylity Technologies, Hakkoda, kipi.ai and Deloitte. phData took both the Global Snowflake Services AI Partner of the Year and the AMER Implementation award in June 2026. Deloitte took the top overall services award. Accenture, EY and Slalom hold the remaining global titles.
What most lists get wrong is the filter. They sort by tier, and Snowflake's tiers — Registered, Select, Premier, Elite — are a commitment level, not a capability rating. One Elite firm in Snowflake's own directory publishes 29 SnowPro Core certifications. Another publishes 3,902. Both are described the same way on a partner badge.
The better discriminators are certification depth, industry competency badges, and which named 2026 award a firm actually won. Those map onto real work. Tier does not. If you are scoping a Snowflake warehouse build or migration, start there instead.
Disclosure: this comparison is published by Xylity Technologies, and Xylity appears in the list below. Every other “top Snowflake partners” list we reviewed was also published by a firm that ranks itself in it — usually first. We have said so; they have not.
Why Elite tier tells you almost nothing
Snowflake organises services partners into three paid tiers above a free Registered level. The wording on Snowflake's own services page is direct: “AI Data Cloud Services Partners are organized into three tiers — Select, Premier and Elite.” The partner network page adds the part that matters: “An annual investment is associated with these higher tiers.”
Tier is therefore partly a purchase. It reflects commitment, revenue influence and program investment. It does not measure how many certified engineers a firm can put on your project next month.
The gap is visible in Snowflake's own directory. Infostrux, a Canadian boutique recognised by Great Place To Work in the under-100-employee category, holds Elite status with 29 SnowPro Core and 5 SnowPro Advanced certifications. Accenture's directory listing shows 3,902 SnowPro Core and 1,389 SnowPro Advanced. Both firms sit in the same conversation if tier is your filter. They cannot staff the same programme.
The directory also contradicts itself. Analytics8's Snowflake profile displays a Select Services Partner badge while the partner-written blurb on the same page describes the firm as Elite. Not one of the five currently ranking listicles we checked noticed.
Tier is what a partner paid for. Certification depth is what they can staff. Award category is what they have actually shipped.
A ten-second test for any Snowflake vendor list
Snowflake renamed its services award categories for 2026. What used to be “Data Cloud Services Implementation Partner of the Year” is now “Global Snowflake Services Implementation Partner of the Year”. The old wording is retired.
So if a list dated 2026 still credits firms with “Data Cloud Services Partner of the Year”, it was written before the June 2026 Summit and never revisited. That single phrase is a reliable staleness tell, and it is remarkably common. Several lists currently ranking for this query also name the wrong 2026 winners outright — crediting Slalom with the AI award that went to phData, or Cognizant with the implementation award that went to Accenture. Both were correct in 2025.
Ownership ages badly too. Hakkoda has been part of IBM since the deal closed on 2 April 2025, and lists published in 2026 still give the acquisition year as 2023 or 2024. kipi.ai is routinely described as part of WNS; Capgemini completed its acquisition of WNS in October 2025, and Snowflake's own award page now reads “kipi.ai, part of Capgemini”.
Partner comparison
| Partner | Tier | SnowPro Core / Advanced | 2026 award | Strongest at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| phData | Elite | 613 / 89 | Global AI; AMER Implementation | Snowflake-native AI and repeat delivery |
| Xylity Technologies | Not a tiered partner | — | — | Adding a specialist to a team already building |
| Hakkoda (IBM) | Elite | 729 / 70 (IBM listing) | AMER Innovation (as IBM) | Migration heritage plus IBM delivery bench |
| kipi.ai (Capgemini) | Elite | 1,066 / 188 | Telecom Services Partner | Accelerators and industry breadth |
| Deloitte | Elite | 1,028 / 82 | Global Services Partner of the Year | Board-level advisory attached to delivery |
The five partners
1. phData
Best for Snowflake-native AI work, and the most decorated pure-play in the ecosystem. phData won the 2026 Global Snowflake Services AI Partner of the Year — its first — alongside the AMER Implementation award, which it describes as its seventh consecutive year. Elite tier, 613 SnowPro Core and 89 SnowPro Advanced certifications, founded 2014 in Minneapolis, with delivery across 39 US states, Uruguay and India. Industry competencies span financial services, healthcare and life sciences, technology, manufacturing and retail. It is also a dbt Visionary Partner and an AWS Premier Tier partner, which matters because most Snowflake estates are half dbt by volume.
The trade-off: Gryphon Investors took a majority stake through a growth recapitalisation in December 2024, with management retaining significant equity. Majority PE ownership tends to reshape delivery incentives inside three years. And 89 Advanced certifications is deep for a firm this size but thin against a global SI if your programme needs forty engineers at once.
2. Xylity Technologies
Best when the Snowflake build is already underway and the gap is a person, not a plan. Xylity is a consulting-led contingent talent partner. The work it does on Snowflake estates is not the programme — it is the Snowflake engineer who has migrated Teradata workloads before, the dbt specialist, the architect who can review a schema before it hardens. Requirements run through a four-stage consulting-led matching process, with a first curated profile in an average of 4.3 days and a 92% first-match acceptance rate, drawn from 200+ pre-qualified delivery partners and 5,000+ specialists. Delivered work includes a unified actuarial analytics platform consolidating eight lines of business on Snowflake and a multi-campus data integration automating accreditation reporting across six colleges.
The trade-off: Xylity holds no Snowflake partner tier and no SnowPro certification count to publish against the firms above. If your procurement function requires a tiered partner logo on the contract, that rules Xylity out before capability enters the conversation. Where it fits is the other shape of the problem — a team that is building competently and is short one Snowflake developer or data engineer for the next two quarters.
3. Hakkoda, an IBM Company
Best for regulated-industry migrations that need nearshore scale. Hakkoda built its reputation as a Snowflake-first boutique and was acquired by IBM in a deal that closed on 2 April 2025. It now operates as “Hakkoda, an IBM Company” and claims 980-plus SnowPro certifications including 70 Advanced, with nearshore delivery from Costa Rica, Portugal and India. IBM took the 2026 AMER Snowflake Services Innovation Partner of the Year award, which Hakkoda publicises as its own.
The trade-off: the acquisition is the thing to weigh, not to ignore. Hakkoda no longer has a separate profile in Snowflake's partner directory — its URL resolves to the IBM Consulting listing. Buyers who chose Hakkoda specifically to avoid a global SI should understand they are now contracting inside one, with whatever that means for rate card, escalation path and team continuity.
4. kipi.ai, part of Capgemini
Best for industry breadth and pre-built accelerators. kipi.ai holds Elite tier with 1,066 SnowPro Core and 188 SnowPro Advanced certifications and eight industry competency badges — more than its own parent's listing carries. Around 250 accelerators and native apps, and the 2026 Telecom Snowflake Services Partner of the Year. In practice kipi.ai is now where Capgemini's real Snowflake depth sits.
The trade-off: the ownership chain is two deep and recent. kipi.ai was acquired by WNS in March 2025; Capgemini completed its acquisition of WNS in October 2025. That is two integrations in seven months. Ask directly which entity signs your statement of work and whether the named team survives the next reorganisation.
5. Deloitte
Best when the Snowflake decision is really a governance and operating-model decision. Deloitte took the 2026 Global Snowflake Services Partner of the Year — the top overall services award — plus Manufacturing and Industries. Elite tier, 1,028 SnowPro Core and 82 SnowPro Advanced, with competencies across financial services, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, retail and public sector. Deloitte states 2026 is the sixth consecutive year Snowflake has recognised it as a Partner of the Year.
The trade-off: advisory weight cuts both ways. Expect a longer assessment phase, a larger engagement floor and a meaningful premium over a specialist for the same engineering. Worth noting that Snowflake's directory and Deloitte's own site disagree on the award count — three-time versus four-time Global Systems Integrator Partner of the Year — which is a small reminder to verify any figure a vendor quotes you, including from a vendor list like this one.
Also in the running
Accenture carries the largest certified bench in the ecosystem by a distance and took the 2026 Global Implementation award plus three others — the right call when Snowflake is one workstream inside a far larger programme. EY holds the EMEA Implementation and Financial Services awards and opened a global Innovation Center for Snowflake in February 2026; strongest where financial services regulation drives the architecture. Slalom took Global Innovation. NTT Data took APJ Implementation. Below the global tier, Infostrux is a credible Snowflake-only boutique for Canadian delivery, and LumenData sits at Premier with genuine Informatica and master-data depth rather than Snowflake-native AI.
How to choose the right one
1. Read the certification counts, not the badge
Snowflake publishes SnowPro Core and Advanced counts on every partner profile. Advanced is the number that correlates with senior delivery capability. Compare it against the size of the team you need staffed, not against the tier name.
2. Match the industry competency to your regulator
Snowflake issues industry competency badges for financial services, healthcare and life sciences, public sector, manufacturing and others. A firm with the badge has delivered under those constraints. A firm without it is learning your compliance regime on your budget.
3. Check who owns the firm this quarter
Hakkoda is inside IBM. kipi.ai is inside Capgemini via WNS. phData is majority-owned by Gryphon Investors. None of that is disqualifying, but every one of them changes the escalation path on a three-year engagement, and none of it appears on a partner badge.
4. Ask what Adaptive Compute does to your cost line
Snowflake made Adaptive Compute generally available in June 2026, with warehouses that auto-scale instead of requiring manual sizing, and claimed price-performance gains over previous-generation standard warehouses. Manual warehouse right-sizing has been a reliable billable line for partners. If a proposal still carries a large cost-tuning workstream, ask how it accounts for the platform doing that work.
5. Separate the ingestion question from the modelling question
Snowflake's acquisition of Datavolo became Openflow, which pulls pipeline ingestion into the platform itself. That changes the scope of a data integration workstream and it changes which third-party tools are worth standardising on. Modelling, governance and semantic definition are where the durable work now sits.
6. Decide whether you need a partner or a person
A tiered partner sells a scoped engagement with a delivery structure and a minimum size. That is the right instrument for a migration off Teradata or a greenfield estate. It is the wrong instrument when a competent team is three months into a build and short one specialist — there, a contingent engineer starts sooner and costs a fraction.
Frequently asked questions
Snowflake services partners sit at Registered, Select, Premier or Elite. Registered is the free entry level. Select, Premier and Elite are the three paid tiers, and Snowflake states that an annual investment is associated with them. Snowflake has announced further program changes effective 2 November 2026, including a move toward a global tier structure with regional zones, so the comparability of tiers across regions may change after that date.
No. Elite reflects commitment and program investment, not delivery capacity. Snowflake's own partner directory lists one Elite firm with 29 SnowPro Core certifications and another with 3,902. Certification depth, industry competency badges and named award categories are far better signals of what a firm can actually staff and has actually delivered.
Check the award names. Snowflake renamed its services categories for 2026, so the current wording is “Global Snowflake Services Implementation Partner of the Year” and similar. If a 2026-dated list still says “Data Cloud Services Partner of the Year”, it predates the June 2026 Summit and was never updated. Ownership is the second check: Hakkoda has been part of IBM since April 2025 and kipi.ai part of Capgemini since October 2025.
An implementation partner sells a scoped engagement under a statement of work, with their own methodology, delivery structure and project management. Contingent specialists join your team and work under your delivery lead at your cadence. Use the first for a migration or a greenfield estate with a defined outcome and budget line. Use the second when the build is already moving and is short a specific skill. Xylity returns a first curated profile in an average of 4.3 days, with a 92% first-match acceptance rate.
Elite tier is a commitment level, not a capability rating, and sorting a shortlist by it puts a sub-100-person boutique and a global SI in the same bracket. Read the SnowPro Advanced count, the industry competency badges and the specific 2026 award category instead. Then check the ownership date — three of the five firms here changed hands in the last twenty months.
Go Deeper
If the Snowflake decision is still open, these three cover the platform question, the move and the plumbing underneath it.
Where Snowflake fits against Databricks, Fabric and Azure in an enterprise data estate.
Scoping and sequencing a warehouse migration without freezing the business.
What Openflow changes about ingestion, and which third-party tools still earn their place.
A Snowflake migration rarely fails on the platform. It slips because the one person who has done a Teradata cutover before is unavailable for six weeks. Xylity keeps that person reachable — 4.3 days to a first curated profile, 92% first-match acceptance, across 22 industries and a network of 200+ delivery partners.
